The Polish Language School Writing and Drawing Competitions.

On Saturday, February 6, Gr. 4 – Gr. 8 students participated in a writing competition (the most beautiful composition in the Polish language), organized by the Polish Teachers Association of Canada. It was the 56th competition of that kind. The children and youth were divided into 6 age groups (different topics each): Group 1 – Gr. 4, 5, 6; Group 2 – Gr. 7, 8; Group 3 – Gr. 9, 10; Group 4 – Gr. 11, 12. The topics can be found in the Picture Gallery. Each participant was to choose one topic to be developed without any one’s help. The best composition from each group is to be sent to Toronto for evaluation.

At the same time the younger children had an opportunity to participate in a drawing competition. The suggested topic: “A Good Deed” had to do with the Year of Mercy, announced by Pope Francis. There was introduced an innovative procedure letting the children judge one another’s entry. Moreover, all submitted drawings will be displayed at the Poetry Recitation Contest, in April, 2016.

Tu tez swoje zaangazowanie wykazal Komitet Rodzicielski.
