The General was the commander of the First Polish Armoured Division under Allied Command in 1942-45. Many members of the Club previously served under his command.
In 1954 Gen. Kazimierz Sosnkowski visited Windsor. After the death of General Wladyslaw Sikorski, General Kazimierz Sosnkowski became the Commandeer-in-Chief of the Polish Army in the West.
