Mission Statement
KPH Windsor is an association of Parent Volunteers and other enthusiasts of Polish Scouting, whose mission is to support financially and morally various scouting activities in Windsor. The Organization is also focused on widely understood promotion of Polish Scouting in our community – parish, social media and press.

Brief History of KPH Windsor
KPH Windsor was established in 2014 as an integral part of the Polish Scouting Association. The history of Polish Scouting in Windsor dates back to the early twentieth century. The scouting units operated in different periods over the years. Most recently, Polish Scouting in Windsor was reactivated in 2010. Currently, over 20 boys and girls aged 10 to 21 are members of the scouting movement in Windsor (decreased from pre-pandemic levels of about 40 members). For years, scouts have been actively participating in various Polish celebrations and local events, including November 11 celebrations, standing on guard during Easter, Polish Heritage Month celebrations, etc. Additionally, they proudly represent our local Polish community in Windsor at various camps and bivouacs with other Polish scouts from different cities in Canada.

Many of the scouting activities have been made possible due to the countless hours of work and preparations spent by their Parents and Supporters.

KPH Windsor is one of many similar organizations active throughout Canada in cities where scouting units operate. The first such Friends of Scouting Association was established in Toronto in 1952 (KPH Toronto).
KPH Windsor will celebrate its 10th Anniversary in 2024.
