In 1954 Gen. Kazimierz Sosnkowski visited Windsor. After the death of General Wladyslaw Sikorski, General Kazimierz Sosnkowski became the Commandeer-in-Chief of the Polish Army in the West. The idea of inviting the General came from the Polish Social Club and in particular from Cpt. Zbigniew Giera (first from the left) who was then the President of the Club.
