Copernicus Jubilee (550 Anniversary of the Astronomer’s birthday) will be celebrated in Canada in 2023 in various locations.
Everyone is cordially invited to the National Inauguration of the Copernicus Jubilee in Canada 2023 on Friday Feb.17, 2023, Windsor Ontario.
Schedule of Events:
11:30 a.m. – Unveiling Copernicus Street in East Windsor (Ward 7) – on the northwest corner of Beverly Glenn Str. and Icewater Ave.
12:30 p.m. – Gathering at Copernicus Astrolabium and Sundial in Jackson Park, downtown Windsor. The Polish Community Representatives and Guests will lay wreaths and flowers.
1:30 p.m. – National Inauguration, Leddy Library, University of Windsor, 410 Sunset Ave. Presentation of Copernicus Display with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
