- The Polish Social Club meeting with Gen. Stanislaw Maczek. The General was the commander of the First Polish Armoured Division under Allied Command in 1942-45. Many members of the Club previously served under his command.

- In 1954 Gen. Kazimierz Sosnkowski visited Windsor. After the death of General Wladyslaw Sikorski, General Kazimierz Sosnkowski became the Commandeer-in-Chief of the Polish Army in the West.
