Polish Heritage Month in Windsor

We are pleased to announce the events in Windsor celebrating Ontario’s Official designation as
May being Polish Heritage Month.
The Polish Heritage, history and contributions to society and the world are highlighted in several key events, functions and displays, each year featuring select topics honouring past significant Polish influencers who changed and shaped the world we live in today.
This year’s spotlight features the work of Nicholas Copernicus with the unveiling and showcase of the Historical Banner Display at the Windsor City Hall and a Memorial tribute at the Astrolabe at Sunken Gardens in Jackson Park.
Other Cultural Events such as special intention Masses at Holy Trinity Church, tributes to Pope John Paul II, Dance and song performances, recognition of Polish Veteran’s, Flag Raising and Illumination of Colours and other events are scheduled throughout the month.
Huge thanks go out to all of the many Polish Organizations for their participation, sponsorship, contributions of Cultural artifacts and materials and Special thanks to the many individuals who care about Polish History, Culture, Heritage and contributions, whose combined leadership and efforts make these events possible this year.
