Parish.
After Sunday Holy Mass at 12:30 pm on May 7th, Members of the Polish Organizations and the rest of our Community will walk together to Dom Polski for this ceremony. This is an outdoor event. Everyone is welcome to attend.

DURING WORLD WAR II, IN APRIL 1941, THE PRIME MINISTER
OF POLAND, GENERAL WLADYSLAW SIKORSKI, AND THE
PRIME MINISTER OF CANADA, MACKENZIE KING, SIGNED AN
AGREEMENT, ESTABLISHING THE POLISH MILITARY MISSION IN
CANADA TO RECRUIT POLISH SOLDIERS. FROM JULY 1941
TO MAY 1942, GENERAL BRONISLAW DUCH WAS THE
COMMANDER-IN-CHIEF OF THE POLISH ARMED FORCES, WITH
HEADQUARTERS IN WINDSOR, ONTARIO. DOM POLSKI
WAS THE RECRUITMENT CENTRE FOR VOLUNTEERS INTO THE
POLISH ARMY.
